This is part of the vintage SF sign series. The Double Play is a Bar on 16th St and Bryant. It used to be across from Seals Stadium until the NY Giants moved to San Francisco in 1958. The bar is all about nostalgia and has a baseball room with murals of baseball. James was inspired by the beautiful neon lettering as well as the history of Baseball in San Francisco.
